SherRhonda Gibbs, PhD
Chief Executive Officer, Principal

SherRhonda Dr. Gibbs is an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Southern Mississippi.  Professor Gibbs teaches courses in entrepreneurship and management.  She has owned three businesses in the industries of specialty retail, business consulting, and bio-IT.  She helped launch and was the original project director of the Minority Business Enterprise Center in Biloxi, MS sponsored by the Minority Business Development Agency and the Arkansas-Mississippi Minority Business Council.  Professor Gibbs has also conducted training sessions for the USDA’s small farmers training initiative in Hinds County.  She was previously an instructor in the Department of Entrepreneurship at Jackson State University where she taught entrepreneurship courses and served as faculty advisor to students participating in the OFCVC business plan competition in Atlanta, GA.  In 2006, Dr. Gibbs received certification in technology entrepreneurship and commercialization from California State University – San Bernardino. She received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Grambling State University and an M.B.A. from Winona State University in Minnesota.  Dr. Gibbs finished her Ph.D. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Jackson State University.

Prior to entering academia, Dr. Gibbs worked over 12 years in the IT industry and continues to provide leadership to her community, colleagues, and profession.  She is an active member of several trade associations including Academy of Management, USASBE (United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship), NBMBAA, and the BDPA (Black Data Processing Associates).  She has lectured on topics such as the ‘Software Development Life Cycle’ for the BDPA Youth Training Camps in Minnesota and ‘Entrepreneurship’ at the Piney Woods Country Life Boarding School in Piney Woods, Mississippi.  Dr. Gibbs has a wealth of experience in software engineering, project management, healthcare information systems and electronic medical records design working for leading companies such as IBM, Mayo Clinic and Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Mississippi.

Academically, her research interests include entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, small business and technology adoption, technology entrepreneurship, career choice, and entrepreneurial efficacy.  Dr. Gibbs has made numerous academic presentations nationally and internationally on diverse topics such as Opportunity Recognition, Work-Life Balance, and IT professionals, and Women Entrepreneurs.

Kelley Duncanson, MPA, PhD
Senior Business Consultant

Dr. Duncanson has an extensive background in the fields of management and accounting.  She is currently the Associate Vice President at College of the Bahamas- Northern Bahamas campus.  Her expertise is in accounting, management, and academic administration.  She has taught courses in accounting and management at Oakwood College, Jackson State University, and the College of the Bahamas.  Dr. Duncanson has diverse work experience in areas such as health care accounting and administration, construction and service.

She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the field of accounting from Oakwood College in Huntsville, AL.  She also completed her Doctoral degree in management from Jackson State University.  Her areas of academic research include organizational citizenship behavior, life satisfaction, and Hofstede’s cultural dimensions.

Mark Gibbs, Software Engineer
Lead IT Consultant

Mr. Gibbs has more than 20 years of IT experience.  His diverse IT background includes in-depth experience working on mid-range systems (AS/400, AIX, UNIX), and PC applications. He has been a top performer and project lead on major IT projects in companies such as IBM, Microtech Medical, and JP Morgan Chase.  His primary areas of expertise include software testing and development, software test evaluation, .NET, VB.NET, AS/400, Oracle 9i, C++, and JAVA. Mr. Gibbs holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Grambling State University.

Dave Thompson, CPA, JD, PhD

Senior Business Consultant, Services Group

Dr. Dave Thompson is Professor of Accounting at Alabama State University.  He has extensive experience in corporate America having worked more than 20 years in positions such as Chief Counsel, Comptroller and CFO.

Daniela Blettner, PhD

Senior Business Consultant, International Business

DanielaDr. Blettner is an Assistant Professor of Management at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where she teaches courses in Strategy & Business Policy, and International Management.  Her specialty areas include Business Strategy, Strategic Decision-making and Planning, International Marketing, and Knowledge Management.  Country Expertise: Germany, Switzerland.

AlexisAlexis Bidinot is an international business student from Paris (France).  He has been studying for six months in Copenhagen, Denmark.  He is a manager of a business firm in France.

Chatinoda Tinago, MBA
Consultant, General Business and International Marketing

ChatinodaChatinoda Tinago has an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi and an undergraduate degree in Business from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS. She is currently a graduate student at St Joseph’s University studying International Marketing. Country Expertise: Zimbabwe.
